Commissioner Precinct No. 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: N0. 15296 APPROVAL OF PROPOSED SUBDIVISION RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, TO BECOME EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1st, 1984 On this the 19th day of December 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded] by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the Proposed Subdivision Rules and '~j ' Regulations for Kerr County, Texas, to become effective January 1st, 1984, including modifica-! tions by Commissioners Holland and Guthrie, as follows: `I Section 7.02 The plat shall he drawn on sheets 21 inches wide and 26 inches long, with margins not less than 3(8ths of an inch. Section 9.08 Base or Base Courses 9.08.A Material for base courses may be either crushed limestone, caliche, calcareous gravel, or other good quality road building material that meets the following physical requirements: Liouid Limit of Soil Binder 40 Maximum Plasticity Index 12 Maximum, 4 2Zinimum Linear Shrinkage, per cent 7? Maximum 9.08.B When sampled from the roadway after processing, the material in place shall meet the following requirements: For all streets within the subdivision the base shall be of compacted depth of not less than six (6) inches and shall have been constructed in two approximately equal courses. 9.08.C The Commissioners' Court may permit minor variances from soil physical requirements stated in the above listed specifications I! when the minimum compacted depth of course is increased from the minimum stated. 9.08.D Prior to delivery of base material to the road or street the results of physical tests of the material proposed for use shall be submitted to the Commissioners' Court for approval. These tests results shall be certified as conforming to the requirements by (1) An approved commercial laboratory, (2) A registered Professional Engineer, or (3) A qualified Soils Laboratory Technician. The certification shall define the area and volume represented by the tabulated results.
