P. M., with the following officers present:

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 15296 APPROVAL OF PROPOSED SUBDIVISION RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR KERR COUNTY, TEXAS,
TO BECOME EFFECTIVE 3ANUARY 1st, 1984
On this the 19th day of December 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded,']
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the Proposed Subdivision Rules and
Regulations for Kerr County, Texas, to become effective January 1st, 1984, including modifica-.I
tions by Commissioners Holland and Guthrie, as follows: ',~i

Section 7.02 The plat shall be drawn on sheets 21 inches i
wide and 26 inches long, with margins not less than 3J8ths of an inch. ,
Section 9.08 Base or Base Courses
9.08.A Material for base courses may be ,'
either crushed limestone, caliche, calcareous gravel, or other good quality road building
material that meets the following physical requirements:
Liouid Limit of Soil Binder 40 Maximum
Plasticity Index 12 Maximum, 4 Minimum
Linear Shrinkage, per cent 7i Maximum
9.O8.B When sampled from the roadway after
processing, the material in place shall meet the following requirements: For all streets
within the subdivision the base shall be of compacted depth of not less than six (6) inches
and shall have been constructed in two approximately equal courses. ~!
9.OS.C The Commissioners' Court may permit ;'
minor variances from soil physical requirements stated in the above listed specifications
when the minimum compacted depth of course is increased from the minimum stated. I
9.O8.D Prior to delivery of base material to
the road or street the results of physical tests of the material proposed for use shall be
submitted to the Commissioners' Court for approval. These tests results shall be certified
as conforming to the requirements by (1) An approved commercial laboratory, (2) A registered I
Professional Engineer, or (3) A qualified Soils Laboratory Technician. The certification
shall define the area and volume represented by the tabulated results.
Section 9.10 Surface Treatment
All streets and roads in subdivisions will be provided with a wearing surface, excepting '',i
the paving of roads in large acre tracts may or may not be required at the discretion of ~
the Commissioners' Court.

N0. 15297 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF DAVIS FENCE COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FENCE AT THE COUNTY

by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved acceptance oŁ the bid of Davis Fence
Company in the amount of $3,014.00 as the lowest bid submitted for the construction of a
fence at the Kerr County Agriculture Building.

N0. 15298 ORDER AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF BUDGETED FUNDS TO THE KERR COUNTY SOIL AND WATER
CONSERVATION DISTRICT
On this the 19th day of December 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland,
seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved payment of budgeted funds
to the Kerr County Soil and Water Conservation District in the amount of $1300.00, the first
payment in the amount of $650.00 to be paid immediately and the second payment in the amount
of $650.00 to be April 11th, 1984, payable out of the Flood Control Maintenance Fund.

N0. 15299 APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF FOUR 1980 PLYMOUTH GRAND FURY FOUR DOOR SEDANS FROM THE
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND AUTHORIZATION FOR PAYMENT

On this the 19th day of December 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the purchase of four used 1980
Plymouth Grand Fury four door sedans for use by the Kerr County Sheriff's Department from the,
Texas Department of Public Safety in the amount of $3,000.00 for each unit, (a total of

$12,000.00 for the four units).
It is ordered by the Court that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw separate

vouchers for each unit, payable to the Texas Department of Public Safety, payable upon request

N0. 15300 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF CLAIM OF BOLIN AUTO SERVICE IN AMOUNT OF $1823.58
On this the 19th day of December 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded,
by Commissioner Holland, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the Auditor and Treasure
er be authorized to draw a voucher on the Road & Bridge Precinct No. Two Fund, payable to
Bolin Auto Service for engine repair.

N0. 15301 ORDER RENEWING INSURANCE POLICIES WITH FURMAN INSURANCE AGENCY THAT WILL EXPIRE
On this the 19th day of December 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved an order renewing insurance policies with]
Furman Insurance Agency that will expire, for a period of one year, as per proposal.

N0. 15302 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY JUDGE TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED ON BEHALF OF KERR
COUNTY, BETWEEN THE CITY OF KERRVILLE AND KERR COUNTY AS GRANTOR AND THE
FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION, AS GRANTEE
On this the 19th day of December 1983, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
