KERB COUNTY SPECIFICATIONS FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES and or YARD MAINCENAbICE Requirements - Janitorial Services Cleaning new Annex, First Floor only. Old Courthouse, existing Office s},ace of Rasement, First Floor and Second Floor in their entirety. The square footage of these areas is approximately 26,000 sq.ft. In addition to these "in house" areas, is the undergrourtd.parking and stairway leading to the parking area. This area (underground parking) should be "picked-up" and swept or Hosed as needed but no less than bi-weekly. Daily Janitorial Se n~ices shall include: Drop all trash cans and replace liners as needed. [>ust furniture, counters, empty ash trays and polish furniture as needed. Dust window sills, dust mop floors, mop when needed, wax and huff as needed. Clean restrooms, breakrooms, fill toilet paper and towel dispensers. Vacuwn second floor, old building and book cases weekly. Sweep steps daily and walkways to Courthouse every other day. Replace burned out light bulbs: Clean ail "entrance" glass as needed and other windows as needed or upon request by Courthouse Officials. Personnel Requirements 1 Full time Janitor on Duty - 5 days a week Supplies Furnished by Contractor Wax, Furniture polish, window cleaner, trash can i.iners, mops, brooms, entrance Mats, Carts, bathroom deodorants, floor cleaning pralucts acid all related equipment necessary to perform cleaning and waxing duties. Supplies Furnished by County Light bulbs, Flourescent bulbs and paper products. Other than duties performed by Full time Janitor, all cleaning,waxing, trash removal,etc.,will be performed after 5:00 p.m. and on week-ends. - REQUIRIIdENCS - Yard Maintenance During growing season, mow weekly. During dormant season mow as needed. LVater, edge, trim, fertilize, treat ants, supervise tree treatment, weed, sod, removal of Litter as needed. Purchase of necessary supplies will be approved by Courthouse Building Superin- tendent before County will be obligated to fund. All tools, mowing equipment, gas, oil, etc., will be furnished by the Contractor. Contractor will furnish Kerr County with a Certificate of Insurance for l.iahility. The Contract will have a provisions that the Contractor will save and hold harm- less Kerr County from any claim arising from damage caused by the operation, of the Contractor.
