ORDER NO. 15231
ORDER FIXING COMPENSATION OF JAILERS AND DISPATCHERS EMPLOYED BY
KERR COUNTY SHERIFF
On this the 13th day of October, 1983, came on to be heard
and considered by the Court the matter of fixing the compensation
to be paid, effective October 1, 1983, to the jailers and dispatchers
employed by the Kerr County Sheriff; and it appearing to the Court
that the compensation paid such personnel pursuant to certain prior
orders of the Court should be adjusted in accordance with certain
compensation increases granted other County personnel effective
October 1, 1983, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Holland
seconded by Commissioner _ Lich and unanimously approved by
the Court that the compensation to be paid such jailers and dispatchers
shall be fixed as follows effective October 1, 1983, payable out of
the General Fund, Jail Operating Account:
1. Elliot L. Michelson, Chief Jailer, $13,500.00 per annum
2. Arthur G. Hastings, Assist Jailer, $12.,'300.00 per annum
3. Other jailers and dispatchers as follows:
Beginning salary shall be $840.00 per month, and upon
attainment of 3 months experience, subject to the discretion
and approval of the Sheriff, they shall be paid $865.00
per month.
All payments to personnel not individually named in this order
shall be made monthly upon certification by the Sheriff to the
County Treasurer of the names of the persons employed and their
individual rates of compensation as fixed within the rate provisions
of this order.
