APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE CITY/COUNTY FIRE
FIGHTING AGREEMENT
On this the 11th day of October 1983, upon motion made
by Commissioner Holland seconded by Commissioner
Guthrie the Court unanimously approved an amend-
ment to the existing City/County Fire Fighting Agreement,
wherein Kerr County will continue to pay to the City of
Kerrville the monthly rate of $2,000.00, for fire service
r.endered,beginning October lst, 1983 and terminating on
September 30th, 1984.
Except as amended herein, all of the provisions of the
original agreement effective October 1st, 1979 shall be
in effect during the term hereof.

This Amendment by and between the CITY OF KERRVILLE, Kerr County, Texas,
hereinafter called "City", acting through its Mayor and attested by its
City Clerk, and the COUNTY OF KERR, hereinafter called "County", acting
through the Commissioners Court of such County, pursuant to the order of
the said Commissioners Court:
WITNESSETH:
The City and County agree to the continuation of the manner of payment
wherein the County will pay to the City monthly the rate of $2,000 per month
for fire service rendered hereunder beginning on October 1, 1983, and termi-
Hating on September 30, 1984.
Except as amended herein, all of the provisions of the original agree-
ment effective October 1, 1979, shall be in effect during the term hereof.

Kerrville City Council approved the October 1983
Amendment to Agreement for City/County Fire Fighting
Agreement. This was recommended by the Public Safety
Committee at their meeting of August 22, 1983, at the
continued rate of $2,000.00 per month.
