APPROVAL OF PROPOSED LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN TIMES MIRROR
CABLE TELEVISION, INC., LESSOR AND CITY OF KERRVILLE AND
KERR COUNTY, LESSEE FOR TOWER SPACE FOR KERB COUNTY EMS
ANTENNA
On this the 27th day of February 1984, upon motion made
by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich,
the Court unanimously approved a proposed Lease Agreement
between Times Mirror Cable Television, Inc., Lessor, and
City of Kerrville and Kerr Country, Lessee, for Tower Space
for the Kerr County EMS Antenna, as recommended by the
Kerrville-Kerr County Public Safety Committee at their
meeting February 21st, 1984, for a period o.f 12 months, to
be effective rlarch 1st, 1984, subject to concurrence by the
City of Kerrville.

TOWER SITE SPACE LEASE AGREEMENT
STATE OF TEXAS ~
COUNTY OF KERB ~
THIS LEASE, made and entered into this date by and between
Times Mirror Cable Television, Inc., a coproation, hereinafter
called the "Lessor", and CITY OF KERRVILLE AND COUNTY OF KERR,
hereinafter called the "Lessee":
W I T N E S S E T H:
1. Subject to and upon the terms, provisions, and condi-
tions hereinafter set forth, the Lessor hereby agrees to lease
to the Lessee space on the Lessor's i:ower located in l~.err County,
Texas, more fully described as follovrs:
Being approximately six (6) acres of land surrounding
the tower and buildings which are owned by Lessor.
The configuration of the sip: acres tract is shown on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
2. To have and to hold the space described above and all
rights, easements, and appurtenances belonging to or otherwise
appertaining thereto, exclusively unto Lessee for a period of
twelve (12) months beginning on ifarch 1, 1984, and terminating
on February 28, 1985, unless sooner i;erminated or extended pur-
suant to the terms of this Lease.
3. As rental hereunder for the space described above Lessee
shall pay the Lessor rent in the amount of Seventy-Two and no/100

072.90) Dollars per month in advance on the 1st day of each month.
In the event Lessor deems an increase in rental rates is necessary,
the request shall be made in writing at least thirty (30) days
prior to anniversary date. Any revisions in rate will require
recommendation and/or approval from the Public Safety Committee,
City Council, and County Commissioners,
4. Lessor shall provide electricity and alternate power
supply during the terms of this Agreement.
5. Lessee shall, during the term hereof, hold and save Lessor
harmless against any and all costs and expenses including reason-
able attorneys fees, losses, liability, claims, suits or judgments
for damages to any person or persons, whether in the employment of
the Lessee or otherwise, or property arising out of any cause or
condition in connection with Lessee's use and occupancy of the
premises hereby leased and the exercise of the rights and privil-
eges granted hereunder and due to the Lessee's fault or negligence.
Lessee shall further provide Lessor with evidence of insurance in
amounts and with insurers satisfactory to Lessor.
6. Holding over will constitute a renewal of this lease for
an additional twelve (12) months term, upon same rent and terms.
Lease Agreement will be automatically rene~vable every twelve (12)
months on March 1. Either party shall have the right, upon 30
days written notice, to terminate this lease.
7. All notices required or permitted hereunder shall be made
by certified or registered mail, with return receipt requested,
mailed to the party designated to receive such notice at the
address designated below:

9. Lessee may not assign this lease or sublet any of the
demised premises without the express written consent of Lessor
thereto.
