On this the 24th day of January 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the request of the Texas Department
of Human Resources, for a Foster Care Payment in the amount of $496.00 for December 1983
on Earnest J. Shakesnyder and Rebecca M. Shakesnyder, payable to Ms. Julius Smith.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Auditor and County Treasurer be authorized
to draw a voucher on the General Fund, payable to Ms. Julius Smith in the above amount and
that Kerr County be reimbursed when Mrs. Smith receives her State Warrant in the amount of
$496.00.

majority vote, the Court approved that LYNN B. LeMEILLEUR be appointed to fill the vacancy in
the office of Justice of the Peace of Precinct No. One, which was created by the resignation
of E. Bruce Curry, effective Iebruary 1st, 1984, and that she be appointed to serve until the

Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved payment of pre-registration fees for
County Treasurer, Dorothy H. Hilburn, to attend the County Treasurers' Conference at Texas
A & M University, April 16th thru 19th, 1984.
It is ordered that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher
on the General Fund, payable to the Texas Agricultural Extension Service Acct. No. 20200
in the amount oŁ $50.00 for the registration fees.
