The taking and receiving of bids for one used oil transport trailer with minimum
capacity of 6000 gallons, with or without heater and for one used 1000 gallon or larger oil
', distributor with cab and chassis for use by the Commissioner of Precinct No. 4 was declared
closed at this time.

REFERRED TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR FOR STUDY AND RECOMMENDATION
On this the 12th day of March 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the bid from Enderby-Anderson Co.,
for one used oil transport trailer for use by the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No.
Four, in the amount of $5000.00 for the trailer FOB Lovelady, plus $1.50 per mile from Love-
lady to Kerrville, be referred to the County Auditor for study and recommendation.

On this the 12th day of March 1984, came on to be considered by the Court, the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which
claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer, in amounts and
out of Road & Bridge No. 1, 2, 3 and 4, General, 216th District Probation, Juvenile State
Aid, Jury, County Law Library, Revenue Sharing Trust, Traffic Safety, Kerr County Public
', Library and Juvenile Services Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie and unanimously

approved by the Court that said bills be paid, with the exception of two bills to the
Kerrville South Volunteer Fire Department (for study). ~

On this the 12th day of March 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the second quarterly payment to the

Kerr Central Appraisal District for tax appraisal office expenses for 1984 in the amount of
$18,083.92.

It is ordered by the Court that the Auditor and County Treasurer be authorized to draw
a voucher on the General Fund, payable to the Kerr Central Appraisal District in the above
amount.

N0. 15385 ORDER REGARDING KERR COUNTY'S PARTICIPATION IN A SEVEN COUNTY. UNIk'IED I2~SURANCE
~', BIDDING PROTECT
~' On this the 12th day of March, 1984, a motion was made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County join the
Counties of Gillespie, Medina, Karnes, Wilson, Frio and Guadalupe in a unified insurance
bidding project sponsored by AACOG, the process to be managed and coordinated by Austin
Consulting Group, Inc. of Austin, Texas, for a fee of $4,000.00 to be prorated among the seve
counties, with a completion date of September 1, 1984. The County Treasurer is authorized
to draw a voucher to Alamo Area Council of Governments in an amount to be billed by AACOG
for its 1/7 share of the 20% down payment and for the balance as billed at the project
completion, payable from the General Fund.
