On this the 11th day of June 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the County Judge be authorized to
advertise for bids for the following equipment, for use by the Commissioner of Kerr County
Precinct No. 4:
One 1984 dump truck with cab and chassis and 5-6 yard dump bed
and
One 1984 dump truck with cab and chassis and 8-10 yard dump bed
and
One 1984 dump truck with cab and chassis and 12-14 yard dump bed.

Bids to be without trade-in.
Specifications are on file in the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas.
Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., July 9th, 1984, at which time all bids
will be publicly opened and read.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Notices to be published in the Official Newspaper of Kerr County, Texas, June 16th and
June 23rd, 1984.

RIVER AUTHORITY DECISION
On this the 11th day of June 1984, came on to be considered by the Court the matter of
the request of William P. Brown, Landowner, for waiver of the Upper Guadalupe River Authority
.-. decision, denying an application for a construction permit for rebuilding of a home which
ti,
~~burned in September of 1983 in a designated floodplain of the Guadalupe River near Camp
'Waltonia.
!I Motion was made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously
';j approved by the Court, granting a variance to William P. Brown, permitting construction in
the floodway, pursuant to provisions as set out in Part 7 of the Regulations for Floodplain
Management, Kerr County, Texas.
(Foundation to be raised 3 feet and home to be built in previous location).

HISTORICAL COMMISSION IN AMOUNT OF $75.00
On this the 11th day of June 1984, upon motion motion made by Commissioner Guthrie,
seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved payment in the amount of
$75.00 to Clarabelle Snodgrass, Chairman of the Kerr County Historical Commission, for attend-,

ing the annual Historic Preservation Conference held at Lubbock, Texas on May 3-5th, 1984.
It is ordered by the Court that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher
in the above amount, payable to Clarabelle Snodgrass, Chairman, payable out of the General
Fund.
