On this the 20th day of August 1984, came on to be considered by the Court, the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which -~
claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer, payable out of
Road & Bridge Precinct Nos. 1, 2, 3 & 4, Juvenile Services, Jury and General Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously
approved by the Court that said bills be paid.

N0. 15636 APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF ONE 1981 PLYMOUTH, GRAND FURY, FROM TEXAS PARKS &
WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT, FOR USE BY THE KERR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
On this the 20th day of August 1984, upon motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the purchase of one 1981 Plymouth,
Grand Fury 4 door sedan from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, in the amount of $3,250.00,
for use by the Kerr County Sheriff's Department.
It is further ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be
authorized to draw a voucher in the above amount out of the General Fund, payable to the
BANK OF KERRVILLE, who in turn will issue a Certified Check, payable to: State Purchasing
Agent and General Services Commission, Austin, Texas, for said vehicle.
(This order will replace one of the $3,000 units authorized December 19th, 1984, Order No.
15299).

On this the 20th day of August 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, it was unanimously approved by the Court, that the bid of Plains
Machinery Company for one used Chip Spreader for use by the Commissioner of Kerr County
Precinct No. One, in the amount of $6,800.00, be rejected.

W. H. Manufacturing Company, as second lowest bidder, for one new Chip Spreader for use by

to the Precinct No. One Yard in Kerrville, Texas (11,200.00 out of General Road & Bridge and
the balance of $35,397.00 out of Road & Bridge Precinct No. One Fund).

N0. 15639 ORDER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR CHAIN LINK FENCE AND TWO GATES, TO BE INSTALLED
AROUND A KERR COUNTY LOT, LOCATED IN COMMISSIONER'S PRECINCT N0. TWO
On this the 20th day of August 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved that the County Judge be authorized
to advertise for bids for approximately 2,000 feet of chain link fence and two gates, to be
installed around a Kerr County Lot, located at the Northwest corner of Spur 100 and Highway
27, in Commissioner's Precinct No. Two.
Specifications are on file in the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas.
Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A.M., September 10th, 1984, at which time all
bids will be publicly opened and read.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Notices to be published in the Official Newspaper of Kerr County, Texas, August 22nd
and August 29th, 1984.

N0. 15640 ORDER AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
OPERATING BUDGET FOR KERR COUNTY
On this the 21st day of August, 1984, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County has
considered the necessity of holding a public hearing on a proposed operating budget for Kerr
County for the fiscal year October 1st, 1984 through September 30th, 1985,
On motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, and unanimously
approved by the Court that pursuant to applicable statutes of the State of Texas, a public
hearing on the proposed operating budget, to be filed by the County Judge of Kerr County in
the office of the County Clerk, be held at 10:00 o'clock A. M. on Monday, September 17th, 1984
in the County Courtroom of the Kerr County Courthouse.
It is further ordered that the County Judge be authorized to cause to be published in they
official newspaper of Kerr County, Texas, a notice of such public hearing.
Publication date for such notice will be on August 25th, 1984.
