On this the 27th day of September 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland,
seconded by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved an order Amending Road &
Bridge Precinct No. One 1983-1984 Budget and approval of transfer of $8,983.00 from Account
No. 15-364-101, Contribution Fund, (Sales & Recovery), to Account No. 15-613-553, Road &
Bridge Precinct No. 1 Fund.

N0. 15688 APPROVAL OF EMPLOYMENT OF A FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE, MARY DELERY, AS THE 4-H PROGRAM
ASSISTANT IN THE COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE
On this the 27th day of September 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie,
seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the employment of a full-
time employee, Mary Delery, as the 4-H Program Assistant in the Kerr County Extension Office,
effective September 24th, 1984, at a salary of $790.00 per month ($9,480.00 per annum), pay-
able out of the General Fund.

N0. 15689 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF DORIS LEE SMITH, TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR, FOR
APPOINTMENT OF CAROL HOLLIMON AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR
On this the 27th day of September 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, second
ed by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the Application of Doris Lee
Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector, for appointment of Carol Hollimon, as Deputy Tax Assessor-
Collector of Kerr County, Texas, at a salary of $10,200.00 per annum ($850.00 per month),
payable out of the General Fund and that her deputation be effective the date of her qualific
tion.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES OF OFFICE AND PROCEDURE OF DOROTHY H. HILBURN, COUNTY

On this the 27th day of September 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie,
seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved acknowledgment of completion
of twenty hours (2.O .Continuing Education Units) of organized instruction in administrative
duties of office and procedure of Dorothy H. Hilburn, County Treasurer, sponsored by V. G.
Young Institute of County Government, Texas Agricultural Extension Service.

N0. 15691 POLICY FOR EMPLOYMENT OF ROAD AND BRIDGE EMPLOYEES AND SETTING OF SALARIES
On this the 27th day of September 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, it was unanimously approved by the Court, that effective October 1st
1984, the employment of all Road and Bridge Employees and the setting of their salaries, shalt
have the approval of the Commissioners' Court, upon recommendation of the. employing Commis-
sinner.

N0. 15692 POLICY FOR ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS TO KERR COUNTY
On this the 27th day of September 1984, upon motion made by County Judge Morriss,
seconded by Commissioner Higgins, with Commissioners Higgins and Guthrie and County Judge
Morriss voting "AYE" and Commissioners Lich and Holland voting "NO", said motion carrying by
a majority vote, that Kerr County no longer accept cash contributions for road improvements
