FOR FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1, 1984 - SEPTEMBER 30, 1985

On this the 9th day of October 1984, came on to be considered the matter of setting
salaries of elected officials and employees of Kerr County, pursuant to applicable laws of
the State of Texas; and it appearing to the Court that said salaries and allowances have been,
agreed upon through required budgetary processes, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court that the
salaries and allowances for elected officials and employees for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1984, be set as shown in the following schedule of alphabetical listing by
department: (*Denotes elected official).

N0. 15712 APPROVAL OF ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS FOR PAVING IN COMMISSIONER'S PRECINCT ONE
On this the 9th day of October 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, with Commissioners Holland, Higgins and Guthrie and County Judge
Morriss voting "AYE" and Commissioner Lich "Abstaining from Voting", said motion carrying by
a majority vote, approving acceptance of donations for paving in Commissioner's Precinct No.
One, in the amount of $2,193.00.

On this the 18th day of October 1984, came on to be considered by the Court, the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which cla
and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer, payable out of General,
Jury, Road and Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 Funds and Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.
Motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie and unanimously
approved by the Court that said bills be paid.

N0. 15715 APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF ONE 1952 GMC TRUCK FOR USE BY THE KERRVILLE SOUTH
FIRE DEPARTMENT
On this the 18th day of October 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved payment in the amount of $4,000.00
to the Kerrville South Volunteer Fire Department, for one 1952 GMC Truck to be used by the
said Fire Department.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to
draw a voucher on the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund in the above amount, payable to the
South Volunteer Fire Department.

N0. 15716 APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT OF CASTLE ESTATES SUBDIVISION
On this the 18th day of October 1984, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved the PRELIMINARY PLAT OF CASTLE ESTATEf
SUBDIVISION, located in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. One, with no variances, and
that all improvements that are to be made shall comply with the existing KERB COUNTY SUB-
DIVISION "RULES AND REGULATIONS" that became effective January 1st, 1984 and amendments to
the regulations that were approved by the Kerr County Commissioners' Court on April 9th, 1984.'

TREASURER'S OFFICE

by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the employment of Janice Owen Spooner,

as an Assistant on a half-time basis in the County Treasurer's Office, effective as of
October 15th, 1984 and that her salary be fixed at $425.00 per month, payable out of the
General Fund.
