HIGGINS VICTOR LICH BILLY JOE GUTHRIE, JR County Judge Commissioner Precinct 1 Commissioner Precinct 2 Commissioner Precinct 3 Commissioner Precinct 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: N0. 15827 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS On this the 17th day of December 1984, came on to be considered by the Court, the various claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor & Treasurer, payable out of Road & Bridge, General, County i.aw Library, Public Library, Revenue Sharing Trust, Juvenile Services, Flood Control and Traffic Safety Funds. Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins and unanimously approved by the Court that said bills be paid. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 15828 ORDER CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING RESULTS OF LOCAL OPTION ELECTION On this 17th day of December, 1984, the Commissioners' Court of said county being called and convened in special session for the purpose of canvassing the votes and certifying the results of an election, heretofore held on the 13th day of December, 1984, to determine whether or not in Justice Precinct No. 4 hereinafter called "Election District"; and a quorum being present, this court proceeded to canvass the votes and certify the results of said election; and it appearing to the court that said election was in all things held in conformity with law, and in accordance with an order, heretofore and on the 13th day of November, 1984, made by this court ordering said election; and it further appearing and being satisfactorily to the court that copies of said order were posted by the County Clerk of said county in the manner and form and for the length of time required by law, this court does hereby make and enter its order declaring the result of said election and finds upon canvassing the votes thereof, the voters at said election voted and cast their votes as follows, to-wit: 1. Election Precinct No. 4 of Justice Precinct No. 4 there were cast the following votes: `' ~. ~~ "For the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages including mixed beverages" 13 votes 'I '; "Against the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages including mixed ~'' ! ~, beverages" 22 votes' 2. Election Precinct No. 5 of Justice Precinct No. 4 there were cast the follow- votes: "For the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages including mixed beverages" 11G votes "Against the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages including mixed beverages" 31 votes 3. Election Precinct No. 6 of Justice Precinct No. 4 there were cast the following votes: "For the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages including mixed beverages" 290 votes "Against the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages including mixed beverages" 132 votes and as a consequence the Court declares that said election has resulted in the sale of all alcoholic beverages including mixed beverages upon this order becoming effective as provided for by law, being legalized in said election district. IT IS THEREFORE DECLARED, ORDERED and DECREED by this Court that said election has carried and a majority of the voters who cast their ballots and voted therein voted "for" and upon this order becoming effective as provided for by law, the sale of all alcoholic beverages including mixed beverages shall be legalized in said election district; and it is further ordered that this decree be entered of record as the law requires.
