LIVINGSTON, LANDOWNER, FOR WAIVER OF UPPER GUADALUPE RIVER AUTHORITY DECISION ON LOT 7 IN CYPRESS PARK SUBDIVISION On this the 13th day of August 1984, came on to be con- sidered by the Court the matter of the request of Dewey K. Livingston, Landowner, for waiver of the Upper Guadalupe River Authority decision on Lot 7 of Cypress Park Subdivision, in a designated floodplain of the Guadalupe River, off of Highway 27, between Center Point and Comfort. Motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie and unanimously approved by the Court, granting a structure elevation variance to Dewey K. Livingston, concerning Lot 7 in Cypress Park Subdivision, pursuant to provisions as set out in Part 7 of the Regulations for Floodplain Management, Kerr County, Texas. .~. f T ~, June 18, 1984 Mr. Victor Lich ~~ Kerr County Commissioner Comfort, Texas "78013 Reference: Request for Variances, Cypress Park Subdivision, Lots Nos. 8, 9 and 25. Dear Mr. Lich: Per our several telephone conversations and your on-site inspection, we are asking far a flood level variance for the following: 1. UGRA ha.s stated in their letter that wa must set the mobilehomes we propose putting an Lot 25, at 1468 msl. We would like a variance to 1465 msl. 2. We would like a variance for the house we have already put on Lot No. 8. 3. We would .likes a variance for the house we have already put on Lot No. 9. 4. We would like a variance on the installation of central air conditions for the 4 mobilehomes we propose ~outting on Lot 25. They state that they must be set at floor level, 1468 msl above ground. We want to set them at ground lev?1, the war they should be installed in order to function properly when installed for mobilehome use. 5. UGRA states in their letter that we must fill out a constr- ution permit for Lot 7. This is the lot our personal river- front home is located on, and this home was already there when we purchased this property in 1983 and had been for 5 years. We don't feel this is our obligation.
