APPROVAL OF MERIT INCREASES FOR VARIOUS DEPUTIES IN THE KERR
COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
On this the 11th day of June 1984, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie,
the Court unanimously approved merit increases for various
Deputies in the Kerr County Sheriff's Office, to be effective
as of June 1st, 1984, follows:
KERR COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
WILLIAM R. HIERHOLZER, Deputy Sheriff - from $15,600.00 per
annum to $15,900.00 per annum (from $1300.00 per month to
$1325.00 per month).
KENNETH E. HUFFAKER, Deputy Sheriff - from $15,600.00 per
annum to $15,900.00 per annum (from $1300.00 per month to
$125.00 per month).
ROBERT LOVE, JR., Deputy Sheriff - from $15,600.00 per
annum to $15,900.00 per annum (from $1300.00 per month to
$1325.00 per month).
ALEJANDRO SANCHEZ, Deputy Sheriff - from $14,700.00 per
annum to $15,000.00 per annum (from $1225.00 per month to
$1250.00 per month).
MICHAEL D. WEST, Deputy Sheriff - from $14,700.00 per
annum to $15,000.00 per annum (from $1225.00 per month to
$1250.00 per month).

I would at this time respectfully request that five (5)
deputy sheriffs receive merit increases of $25.00 per
month each retroactive to June 1st, 1984.
The five deputies, W. R. Hierholzer, Gene Huffaker,
Bobby Love, Alex Sanchez, and Mike West have been doing
exceptional work and deserve the increase.
