APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT N0, 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR AIRPORT
RUNWAY REWORK PROJECT
On this the 17th day of August 1984, upon motion made
by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by Commissioner Holland,
the Court unanimously approved AMENDMENT N0. 1 - AIRPORT
RUNWAY REWORK PROJECT, (Project No. 3-48-0121-O1), between
the Federal Aviation Administration, acting for and on
behalf of the United States, and the City of Kerrville,
Texas and the County of Kerr, referred to as the "Sponsor",
subject to concurrence by the City of Kerrville.
It is ordered by the Court that County Judge Morriss be
authorized to execute said amendment on behalf of Kerr
County.

WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hettinafter ttfemd to as the ••FAA") has deter-
mined it to be in the intettst of the United States that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting
fot and Oa behalf of the United States, and the Citv of Kerrville. Texas and the
County of Kerr
(hereinafter ttfernd to as the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 15th day of Aueust
14 83, be amended as hettinafter provided.
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the benefits to aecrue to the parties hereto, the FAA on behalf of the
United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that
the maximum obligation of the United Statea,.and the amount "for development other
than land", set forth on Page 2 of the Grant Agreement, are hereby increased from
$411,000.00 to $419,451.99.

SUBJECT: AMENDMENT No. 1 - AIRPORT RUNWAY REWORK PROJECT
Attached is the "original" of Amendment No. 1 to the runway-
taxiway rework program, Project 3-48-0121-01, which is the
F. A.A.'s acceptance of the over-run costs for the above
mentioned project.
This agreement requires acceptance by both the City and
County as joint sponsors. Please have these documents
executed as soon as possible and returned to the Public
Works office.
The original grant agreement required acceptance by
Resolution, however, no reference to this requirement
is noted in Mr. Conley's letter (copy attached).
Parallel action is being taken by the City.
