~I NO. 16401 ORDER SETTING PAY OF GRAND JURORS, PETIT JURORS AND SPECIAL VENIREMEN IN DISTRICT
COURT AND OF JURORS IN COUNTY COURT j
On this the 9th day of December 1985, came on to be heard and considered by the Court, ~
the matter of fixing the compensation of Grand Jurors, Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen in
the District Court of Kerr County and of 3urors in the County Court of Kerr County, as is i

'' required to be done annually by Article 2122, Vernon Civil Statutes and Article 1056 of the
> Code of Criminal Procedure; and after due consideration, it is ordered on motion by Commis-
sinner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland, and unanimously approved by the Court, that
the compensation to be paid to all Grand Jurors and Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen shall
be fixed at $7.50 per day, including those summoned but excused after having been sworn;
it provided, however, that County, Justice of the Peace and District Court Jurors and Grand
Jurors actually impaneled and sworn shall be paid $10.00 Per day.

~ NO. 16402 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO L. L. SAMS & SONS, WACO, TEXAS, FOR NE4d BENCH SEATING FOR
THE NEW COUNTY COURT AT LAW COURTROOM
On this the 9th day of December 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved payment to L. L. SAMS & SONS, Waco,
Texas, in the amount of $3,474.00, for the new bench seating for the new County Court at Law
Courtroom.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher in above amount out of the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund, payable to L. L.
SAMS & SONS.

Inc., Kerrville, Texas, for furniture for the new County Court at Law Courtroom and offices
and modification of the existing Tax Assessor-Collector's Office, in the amount of $7833.50,
payable out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.

On this the 9th day of December 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved the employment of ROBERT D. HERRERA
as a Jailer/Dispatcher, effective as of December 11th, 1985, and that his salary be fixed at
$12,978.00 per annum ($1081.50 per month - $540.75 semi-monthly, payable out of the General
Fund. (Kerr County Pay Schedule - 10/1/85 - Pay Group 3.3, Step 1)

On this the 9th day of December 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Linton Tomlin,
Court Reporter of the 198th Judicial District, be ratified and confirmed, effective as of
December 1st, 1985.
