On this the 24th day of October 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved a rider increasing the bond of

On this the 24th day of October 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the employment of Neil Schellenger as
an equipment operator in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. 2, effective as of October
24th, 1985, at $5.94 per hour, payable out of Road & Bridge Fund.

NO. 16359 RESIGNATION OF ARTHUR V. SCHMIDT, DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 24th day of October 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, with Commissioners Holland and Higgins and County Judge Morriss
voting "AYE" and Commissioners Lich and Guthrie "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying.
by a majority vote, approving that the resignation of Arthur V. Schmidt, Deputy Sheriff of
Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective as of October 17th, 1985 and that he
be paid two days of vacation through October 19th, 1985.

N0. 16360 TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT OF MARK SHAW AS JAILER-DISPATCHER
On this the 24th day of October 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved that the termination of the employment
of Mark Stiaw as Jailer-Dispatcher of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective
as of October 17th, 1985, and that he be paid for six (6) vacation days, through October 23rd,
1985.
