On this the 25th day of October 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded'
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the request of Sheriff Clifton A.
Greeson, accepting a Law Enforcement Officers' Liability Insurance with the National Sheriffs'
Association, which covers the Kerr County Sheriff's Department and includes the County Judge
and four Commissioners, for a period of one year, in the amount of $15,465.00, to be effective
as of November 1st, 1985. ',
It is further ordered by the Court that Sheriff Clifton A. Greeson be authorized to
execute said application on behalf of Kerr county.

' by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the application of Clifton A. Greeson,
Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for the appointment of Brown Stokes as Deputy Sheriff, effective
as of November 1st, 1985, at a salary of $15812.00 per annum ($1317.67 per month - Pay Group
17 Step 1), payable out of the General Fund.
I(Mr. Stokes will replace Arthur V. Schmidt, whose resignation was effective October 19th,
1985)
