presenting a growing problem in all regions of the state; and, ',

! WHEREAS, an adequate and clean water supply has been a key ingredient in making Texas a r

it good place to live and work and in providing a strong, growing and varied economy; and	
WHEREAS, the diminishing participation of the federal government in funding water	
programs, coupled with the state's declining revenue has created a severe strain on the	
ability of the state, through its current water funding program, to address this complex	
I~ problem with our water resources; and,
i	
WHEREAS, a plentiful supply of water distributed economically to all areas of the state	
~! will be an ever-increasing priority for all levels of government in the future; therefore,	
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Commissioners Court of Kerr County endorses the proposed State	
1! Water Plan adopted by the 69th Texas Legislature as a urgent and necessary step toward a	
permanent solution to this threatening crisis; and,	
I'~, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Court urges the Citizens of Texas to lend their support	~
!~ to this effort by going to the polls on November 5, 1985 and voting in favor of Proposed
Constitutional Amendments #1 and #2.

(District as created pursuant to the provisions of Vernon's Texas Codes Annotated, Tax Code,
!I Article 6.01; and it appearing to the Court that Kerr County is entitled to make nominations `~/
,for the Directors of the District who are to be elected pursuant to applicable provisions of f'`
!,said Tax Code, Article 6.03, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded by
!,'!Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court that Julius R. Neunhoffer, a qualified
citizen of Kerr County, whose mailing address is 2503 Lower Turtle Creek Road, Kerrville,
