On this the 12th day of August 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, with Commissioners Higgins, Lich and Guthrie and County Judge Morriss
voting "AYE" and Commissioner Holland "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a
majority vote, approving an Agreement, made the 12th day of August, 1985, by and between Kerr
County, Texas, acting by and through its Commissioners' Court, and the State of Texas,
acting by and through its State Highway and Public Transportation Commission. /d~
Said contract provides for County funding for curbing and incidental items for approxi- D' ~

mately two miles of Loop 534, beginning from State Highway 16 South at the County's expense
in an amount of $8,900.00. Such property is to be annexed by the City of Kerrville on or
about October 20, 1985, but immediate funding was requested, due to the scheduling of the
project by the State.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher on the Loop 534 Right-of-Way Fund, payable to the State Department of
Highways and Public Transportation in the amount of $8,900.00 for the construction work.

NO. 16233 APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT OF PARKER HILLS
On this the 12th day of August 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved the PRELIMINARY PLAT OF PARKER HILLS,
with no variances, located in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. One, and that all
improvements that are to be made shall comply with the existing KERR COUNTY SUBDIVISION RULES
AND REGULATIONS'.', that became effective January 1st, 1984 and amendments to the regulations
that were approved by the Kerr County Commissioners' Court on April 9th, 1984.

On this the 12th day of August 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the PRELIMINARY PLAT OF DIAMOND OAKS
SUBDIVISION, with variances on road right-of-way to be 50 feet and pavement to be 30 feet,
back to back of curb. Said subdivision is located in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct
No. Four.
All improvements that are to be made shall comply with the existing KERB COUNTY SUB-
DIVISION "RULES AND REGULATIONS", that became effective January 1st, 1984 and amendments to
the regulations that were approved by the Kerr County Commissioners' Court on April 9th, 1984.

NO. 16237 ORDER CONSOLIDATING CERTAIN KERR COUNTY ELECTION PRECINCTS FOR CONSTITUTIONAL
AMENDMENT ELECTION NOVEMBER 5th, 1985
On this the 12th day of August 1985, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
' the matter of consolidating certain election precincts of Kerr County for the purpose of
conducting a Constitutional Amendment Election ordered by the State of Texas, to be held
on November 5th, 1985 and it appearing to the Court that Section 2.02(g) of the Texas
Election Code authorizes the combination of any two or more Kerr County election precincts
r" into consolidation precincts for the purpose of conducting the aforesaid election;
It further appearing to the Court 'that the costs of conducting this election would be
materially reduced by certain consolidations, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court that for the
purpose of conducting the aforesaid election called for November 5th, 1985, the following
consolidations of certain of Kerr County's regular election precincts shall be as follows:
1. Election precincts 1 and 12 are consolidated into a single precinct with the
Kerr County Courthouse being designated as the polling place;
2. Election precincts 11 and 15 are consolidated into a single precinct with
Kerrville Baptist Temple being designated as the polling place.
3. Election precincts 14 and 17 are consolidated, with the Zion Lutheran Church
being designated as the polling place; and it is further ordered that regularly
appointed election officials for precincts 1, 15 and 17 shall conduct the said
election in the aforesaid consolidated election precincts.
