County Judge Morriss, with Commissioners Holland, Higgins, Lich and County Judge Morriss
'! voting "AYE" and Commissioner Guthrie "Abstaining from voting", motion carried by a majority
vote, and Court appointed Billy Joe Guthrie, Jr. (Kerr County Commissioner of Precinct #4)
as Kerr County representative to Citizens' Advisory Board of Edwards Underground Water
District.

VIVIAN KUYKENDALL AS DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 25th day of July 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the application of Patricia Dye, County
Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, for the appointment of Vivian Kuykendall as Deputy County Clerk
'~ of Kerr County, Texas, effective as of July 29th, 1985, at a salary of $840.00 per month
($10,080.00 per annum), payable out of the General Fund. (Vivian will replace Simona Garza,
whose resignation was effective July 19th, 1985).

NO. 16201 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF CLIFTON A. GREESON, SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, FOR
APPOINTMENT OF RICHARD HAAS AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 25th day of July 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the application of Clifton A. Greeson,
Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for the appointment of Richard Haas as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr
County, Texas, effective as of July 25, 1985, at a salary of $1200.00 per month ($14,400.00
per annum), payable out of the General Fund.

On this the 25th day of July, 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, Court unanimously approved granting thirty-day leave of absence
without pay, to Bobbie Leedy, Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, effective August 1, 1985.

IN KERR COUNTY COD7MISSIONER'S PRECINCT #1
On this the 25th day of July 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved granting of Right of Way to the
public for widening of Schreiner Street, of a 15-foot strip along Precinct Yard of Commis-
sioner of Precinct One, located at Hays and Schreiner Streets, Kerrville, Texas, said
property deeded to Kerr County in Vol. 166 page 138, Deed Records of Kerr County.
The City of Kerrville to provide metes and bounds description and Easement instrument
for filing.
