N0. 16188 ORDER APPOINTIPdG COUNTY COURT-AT-LAW JUDGE FOR KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 25th day of July 1985, came on to be considered the appointment of a
County Court-at-Law Judge for Kerr County, Texas, from among applications filed (in accordance°:
with ORDER N0. 16129).
Upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins, with ',
Commissioners Holland, Higgins, and Guthrie voting "AYE", Commissioner Lich voting "NAY",
and County Judge P-4orriss "Abstaining from voting", motion carried by a majority vote that
William L. ("Bill") Baskette, Jr. be appointed County Court-at-Law Judge for Kerr County,
Texas, commencing full duties on October 1, 1985, and to serve until after the 1986 General
Election--at which time the person elected, once qualified, will begin serving.

N0. 16189 ORDER SETTING EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 1, 1985 FOR COMMENCEMENT OF
COUNTY COURT-AT-LAW OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, AND FOR COUNTY COURT-AT-LAW JUDGE
TO COMMENCE FULL DUTIES
On this the 25th day of July 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the commencement of
Kerr County Court-at-Law be October 1, 1985, and that the appointed County Court-at-Law
Judge, William L. ("Bill") Baskette, Jr., commence full duties on October 1, 1985.

N0. 16190 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 25th day of July, 1985, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which
claims and accounts were approved for payment b_y the County Auditor and County Treasurer,
payable out of General, Road and Bridge, Revenue Sharing, Jury, 216th District Probation
Fund, Public Library, and County Library Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Higgins, and unanimously
approved by the Court that said bills be paid.

N0. 16191 APPROVAL OF MONTHLY REPORTS OF SHERIFF AND PRECINCT #5 JUSTICE OF THE PEACE
On this the 25th of July 1985, came on to be examined by the Court the monthly reports
of the County Sheriff and Justice of the Peace of Precinct #5, of Kerr County, Texas; and
having been heard and considered by the Court, on motion made by Commissioner Holland,
seconded by Commissioner Higgins, it was unanimously approved that said reports be approved
and filed with the County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit:
