On this the 8th day of July 1985, came on to be considered by the Court the matter of
setting a date for a public hearing concerning vehicle traffic control signs along Monroe
Drive in Glen Oaks No. 2 Subdivision, located in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. One.

Upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins, the Court
unanimously approved that the County Judge of Kerr County, Texas, be authorized to issue a
notice that a public hearing will be held on August 12th, 1985 at 4:00 o'clock P. M. in the
County Courtroom of the Kerr County Courthouse in Kerrville, Texas, concerning the adoption
of appropriate regulatory signs and a speed limit of 30 miles per hour along Monroe Drive in
Glen Oaks Subdivision No. 2, as provided by Article 6702, Sec. 2.301 (a) (1) and (2), Vernon's
Texas Civil Statutes.

Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved a probationary salary increase for James
C. Poole, Deputy Sheriff, in the amount of $50.00 per month,from $1200.00 per month to $1250.OD
per month (from $14,400.00 per annum to $15,000.00 per annum), effective as of July 1st, 1985.

NO. 16170 APPROVAL OF EPIPLOYMENT OF SUZANNE S. TAYLOR AS SECRETARY IN THE KERR COUNTY
SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
On this the 8th day of July 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the request of Clifton A. Greeson,
Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for the employment of Suzanne S. Taylor as a secretary in the
Sheriff's Department, effective as of July 15th, 1985, at a salary of $840.00 per month
($10,080.00 per annum), payable out of the General Fund. She will replace Evelyn Oates,
whose resignation will be effective as of July 31st, 1985.

the Deed Records of Kerr County, Texas, and being all of a certain tract or parcel of land
containing 0.106 acre, more or less, out of R. E. Marshall Survey No. 1304, Abstract No. 600
