BETWEEN THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION AND THE CITY OF KERRVILLE, TEXAS AND
THE COUNTY OF KERR, TEXAS
On this the Sth day of July 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved ratification of Amendment No. 1 to Grant
Agreement for ADAP Project 5-48-0121-04, accepted by the Court on April 9th, 1979, between
the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "FAA"), acting for and

on behalf of the United States, and the City of Kerrville, Texas and the County of Kerr, Texas,: .....
hereinafter referred to as the "SPONSOR", increasing the Grant amount from $260,000.00 to
$286,000.00, and in concurrence with the City of Kerrville.

Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved ratification of Amendment No. 2 to Grant
Agreement for ADAP Project 5-48-0121-05, accepted by the Court on July 21st, 1980, between the
Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "FAA"), acting for and on
behalf of the United States, and the City of Kerrville, Texas and the County of Kerr, Texas,
hereinafter referred to as the "SPONSOR", increasing the Grant amount from $224,000.00 to
'$251,897.40, and in concurrence with the City of Kerrville. j~ -

On this the 8th day of July 1985, came on to be considered by the Court, the various claim
and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which claims and
accounts were approved for payment by the County Auditor and County Treasurer, payable out of
General, Road & Bridge, Jury, Juvenile State Aid, County Law Library, 216th District Probation,
'Public Library and Revenue Sharing Trust Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Higgins and unanimously

NO. 16149 COUNTY ATTORNEY AUTHORIZED TO PURCHASE COMPUTER HARDWARE
On this the 8th day of July 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by
Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved that County Attorney Gary E. Kersey be
authorized to purchase computer hardware in the amount of $2469.00 from Computers for Business,
1600-D Broadway, Kerrville, Texas.

authorized to draw a voucher on the General Fund, payable to Computers for Business in the
above amount, upon acceptance and approval by the County Attorney.

On this the 8th day of July 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the County Auditor
and County Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the General Fund (Code No. 10-510-550)
payable to SCHUBERT & WILLIAMS, INC. in the amount of $8075.23 for professional services &

reimbursement for mileage, bus freight and Blanco Blueprint, for the new County Court at Law ''
Courtroom and Offices and modification of the existing Tax Collector's Offices.

AS PART-TIME EMPLOYEES IN PRECINCT NO. FOUR
On this the 8th day of July 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved the request of Billy Joe Guthrie, Jr.,
Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. Four, for employment of Mike Burns and Ralph Colbath',
as part-time employees in Precinct No. Four, effective as of July 15th, 1985, on an hourly
basis at $4.56 per hour, payable out of Road & Bridge Precinct No. Four Fund.

NO. 16152 APPROVAL OF EMPLOYMENT OF SANDRA ELLIOTT AS A RELIEF SECRETARY IN THE KERR COUNTY
SHERIFF'S OFFICE ON A TEMPORARY PART-TIME BASIS

Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the employment of Sandra Elliott as a

On this the 8th day of July 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by
Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved the employment of Charles Janson as
'' Jailer-Dispatcher at the Kerr County Correction-Detention Facility, effective as of June 28th,'
1985, at a salary of $840.00 per month ($10,080.00 per annum), payable out of the General
Fund. (ATr. Janson will replace Douglas LQallace, Jr., whose resignation is effective as of
July 8th, 1985).
