satisfactory to the Court, as required by Article 5160, V.A.T.C.S. and Article 5159a, V.A,T.C.:
requiring that not less than the general prevailing rates of per diem wages for work of
similar character in the locality where the work is performed shall be paid all laborers,
workmen and mechanics in the construction of public works.
ATTENTION OF BIDDERS is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employ-
ment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
Bid bonds will be returned upon awarding of the bid and contract execution. No bid may be
withdrawn for 30 days after the time set for receipt of the proposals. The bidders will
notify their suppliers and subcontractors that this project is exempt from all City and State
sales taxes.
BIDDERS are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all local
conditions, and carefully examine the plans, specifications and other documents. Should a
bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the plans, specifications or other documents
or should he question their meaning, he should at once notify the Engineer and obtain clarifi
cation prior to submitting any bid.
In case of ambiguity or lack of clarity in stating the contract price, the County reserves
the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof.
In addition, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, reserves the right to waive any
informality in or to reject any and all bids.

On this the 20th day of June 1985, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of a nomination to be made for the Aurpose of filling a vacancy on the Board of
Directors of the Kerr Central Appraisal District as created pursuant to the provisions of
Senate Bill 621, 66th Legislature, Regular Session; and it appearing to the Court that Kerr
County is entitled to make a nomination to fill said vacancy which will be filled by the
Board pursuant to applicable provisions of said Senate Bill No. 621, it is ordered on motion
by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, with Commissioners Higgins, Lich
and Guthrie and County Judge Morriss voting "AYE" and Commissioner Holland "ABSTAINING FRONS
VOTING", said motion carrying by a majority vote, approving that CHARLES H. MOSTY, a qualifie
citizen of Kerr County, whose mail address is Rt. 1, Box 649, Center Point, TX 78010, be
nominated by Kerr County as a candidate to be considered by the Board of Directors of the
said Kerr Central Appraisal District when voting to fill the vacancy.
