Slater, Jr., Chief Deputy Sheriff and Law Enforcement Co-ordinator for Crime Stoppersp and Rhonda Powell, Dispatcher-Jailer, to attend an advanced Crime Stoppers School in Arlingtor~ Texas, June 12th through June 14th, 1985. STATE DEPARTD'[ENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION MINUTE ORDER KERR County (609-}P~47$~) District No. 15 Page 1 of 2 pages WHEREAS, in KERR COUNTY on LOOP 534, from State Highway 16 South of Kerrville, Southeast to Farm to Market Road 689, a distance of approximately 2.0 miles, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation is preparing plans for reconstruction; and WHEREAS, the City of Kerrville and Kerr County will have responsibilities in the project; NOW, THEREFORE, the Engineer-Director is directed to tender the following proposal to the City of Kerrville and Kerr County: Provided the City and/or County will: 1. Provide for the construction of continuous curb and gutter where none now exist, storm sewers, etc., all as may be necessary for a complete project with the exception of pavement and its support. 2. Maintain that portion of the work which is its responsibility in accordance with present maintenance agreements, and agree to regulate traffic and prevent encroachment on the right of way, all in accordance with governing policies and regulations of the Depart- ment. The State Department of Highways and Public Transportation will: 1. Provide for reconstruction at an estimated cost of $970,000. 2. Maintain that portion of the work which is its responsibility in accordance with present maintenance agreement. KERR County Page 2 of 2 Pages MINUTE ORDER District No. 15 Upon acceptance of the provisions of this Order by the appropriate officials of the City of Kerrville and Kerr County, the Engineer-Director is directed to proceed with development of plans for construction and after the City and/or County have fulfilled their responsibili- ties, proceed with construction in the most feasible and economical manner, financing the cost in the 1984 District Discretionary Construction Program. It is understood that the City and/or County may discharge their construction obligations as outlined herein in any manner as they may elect. In the event the City and{or County desires the State to include their portion of work in the State's construction contract, the Engineer-Director is hereby authorized to enter into agreement with the City and/or County;, for such work and its cost as may be agreed upon. This Order shall become operative upon acceptance by the City of Kerrville and Kerr County ands! if not accepted within 90 days of the date hereof, the action herein contained shall be automatically cancelled.
