~' On this the 1st day of May 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by
~' Commissioner Holland, it was approved unanimously by the Court that County Judge Gordon S.
~ P9orriss be empowered to write a letter to the City of Kerrville for a joint use agreement for

!: the purpose of laving two pipes along the Kerr County road easement known as the "Flat Rock
Lake Crossway" on the westerly side of Kerrville State Park, from the Guadalupe River to
Ij Highway 173. Said letter, requested by the City of Kerrville, is to be written to the City
~~ in care of Calvin Neeley, Director of Public Works, for the City's use in gaining access
I~ along the road easement for the laying of a wastewater and fresh water pipe. The City is
assuming full responsibility for the project, and obtaining permission from Texas Parks and
Wildlife Department, on whose land the easement lies.

N0. 16036 APPROVAL OF PAYD4ENT OF BILL SUBMITTED BY TURTLE CREEK VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
IN EXCESS OF 1985 BUDGET
On this the 1st day of May 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by
Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved payment to Turtle Creek Volunteer Fire
Department an amount for bills submitted totaling $4278.65, which sum is in excess of the
Turtle Creek Volunteer Fire Department's budget for fiscal year 1985.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher on the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund for $4278.65, payable to Turtle Creek
Volunteer Fire Department, as reimbursement for justifiable expending to improve fire
protection equipment and services.

NO. 16037 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF CLIFTON A. GREESON, SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, FOR
APPOINTDIENT OF ROWAN P. ZACHRY AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COULdTY, TEXAS
On this the 1st day of May 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by
Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved the Application of Clifton A. Greeson,
Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for the appointment of Rowan P. Zachry as Deputy Sheriff of
Kerr County, Texas, effective as of D4ay 1st, 1985, at a salary of $1,000.00 per month
($12,000.00 per annum), payable out of the General Fund.
Salary of Deputy Zachry shall be increased to $1200.00 per month, upon his completion
