"That Kerr County settle the current EEOC Complaints filed by Vivian Kuhlmann, Judy Rogers,
Margit Turner, Anne Graham, Anne Burns, Angelita Garza, Linda Uecker, Janie Wolfrum, Mary Ann j
Medrano, Joanne Smith, Paula Rector, Donna Witt and Freda LaFour, in the following manner.

1) That Kerr County pay a cash payment of $500.00 to each of the complainants
who were employed by Kerr County from October 1, 1953 up to and through March 31, 198.

2) That each of the above named parties who, as of this date are employed by the County ~,

shall receive a salary adjustment in the amount of $35.00 per month, beginning April j
1, 1985.
3) That each of the above named parties whose employment terminated prior to March 1,
ctober
1985, shall receive a salary adjustment of $35.00 per month, retroactive to O
~ 1, 1983 and ending on the date of their termination.

~, 4) That the above parties shall execute a satisfactory settlement agreement and release
I of Kerr County and Commissioners' Court, releasing said County and Court from all

liabilities including those alleged in the above referenced EEOC complaints.
', 5) That the above parties shall immediately dismiss with prejudice all pending complaints
with the EEOC.
'!, By agreeing to this settlement, Kerr County denies discrimination in any form or manner with
'regard to any employee and/or elected official of Kerr County. Further, the Court makes this
lagreement in order to, and only to reach a resolution of the current conflicts. The Court
!I'~,feels that it must make this settlement for the best interest of the citizens and taxpayers of
',Kerr County, and to promote harmony between employees and elected officials of Kerr County.
i',The County Judge is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of Kerr County all instruments
',necessary to effect this settlement."
