NO. 15985 MODULAR JAIL SYSTEMS OF HOUSTON, TEXAS EMPLOYED TO CONSTRUCT A MAXIMUM SECURITY
CELL IN THE KERR COUNTY JAIL, OUT OF AN EXISTING CELL
On this the 12th day of March 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that Modular Jail Systems of Houston,
Texas, be employed to construct in the Kerr County Jail a maximum security cell out of an
existing cell, including the plans, certification from the Commission on Jail Standards, and
actual construction to be completed within 45 days of this order.
Total cost for the construction of the maximum security cell is in the amount of
$2,500.00.

On this the 26th day of March 1985, came on to be considered by the Court, the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which claims
and accounts were approved fcr payment by the County Auditor and County Treasurer, payable
out of General, Jury, Road & Bridge, County Law Library and Public Library Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously
approved by the Court that said bills be paid.

NO. 15987 APPROVAL OF AIRPORT SUB-LEASE, BY AND BETWEEN EAA SOUTHWEST REGIONAL FLY-IN, INC.,

COUNTY, TEXAS, LESSORS, AND AVIATION MUSEUM OF TEXAS, INC., A TEXAS NON-PROFIT
CORPORATION, SUB-LESSEE
On this the 26th day of March 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved a Sub-Lease, recommended by The
Kerrville-Kerr County Joint Airport Advisory Board and entered into by and between EAA SOUTH-
WEST REGIONAL FLY-IN, INC., a Texas non-profit corporation, SUB-LESSOR, and CITY OF KERRVILLE,i
TEXAS and KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, LESSORS, and AVIATION MUSEUM OF TEXAS, INC., a Texas non-profit I
corporation, SUB-LESSOR, and CITY OF KERRVILLE, TEXAS and KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, LESSORS, and
AVIATION MUSEUM OF TEXAS, INC., a Texas non-profit corporation, SUB-LESSEE, for a period of
twenty (20) years, beginning March 1, 1985 and terminating on February 28, 2005, subject to
concurrence by the City of Kerrville.
It is ordered by the Court that County Judge Morriss be authorized to execute said sub-
lease on behalf of Kerr County.

N0. 15988 APPROVAL OF APPOINTMENT OF MR. GENE GLASS AS A MEMBER TO THE KERRVILLE/KERR
COUNTY JOINT AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD, TO REPLACE E. M. "TEX" ANDERSON
On this the 26th day of March 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the appointment of Mr. Gene Glass as
a member to the Kerrville/Kerr County Joint Airport Advisory Board, to replace E. M. "Tex"
Anderson, for a two year term, beginning March, 1985 and ending March, 1987.

On this the 26th day of March 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved the employment of Linda M. Samford
as a full-time Clerk in the office of the Justice of the Peace of Precinct No. Four, at a ..~
salary of $790.00 per month ($9,480.00 per annum), effective April st, 1985, and that her
salary be paid out of the General Fund.

SOUTHEAST EDGE OF CITY-COUNTY PROPERTY

SERVICES, INC., FOR GARBAGE & REFUSE COLLECTION ,...
On this the 26th day of March 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded

hand the City of Kerrville, increasing subsidy with Moore Services, Inc., in the amount of

!$3200.00 per month, with the County and City each paying an additional amount of $1600.00 per
month, for a term not to exceed a period of one year.
It is ordered by the Court that the monthly rate for garbage and refuse collection for
Kerr County will be increased from $1,181.00 per month to $2,781.00 per month, payable to Moore
Services, Inc., to be effective at the commencement of the operation of the newly permitted
landfill site. '
