idO. 15874 CONSENT TO EMPLOY SECRETARY
On this the 14th day of January, 1985, came on to be considered by the Commissioners'
Court of Kerr County, Texas, the matter of consenting to the employment of a secretary for
the County Attorney's Office, to serve at a rate of compensation to be set by the Commission-
ers' Court of Kerr County, Texas, at the special instance and request of and for a period of
time to be determined by County Attorney Gary E. Kersey; and it appearing that a need exists
to employ a secretary in the office of the County Attorney, beginning January 1, 1985; and
it appearing that the said Gary E. Kersey, County Attorney, nas recommenaea the employment
of Diane Clarkson as secretary for the office of County Attorney effective January 1, 1985;
it is hereby ordered upon motion of Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins,
and unanimously approved by the Court, that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County grant its
consent to the employment of Diane Clarkson as secretary to the office of County Attorney
effective January 1, 1985; the said Diane Clarkson to serve at the will of the said County
Attorney. It is further ordered that her compensation is fixed at $10,080.00 per annum
effective January 1, 1985.

On this the 14th day of January 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Stanley Claiper,
as Jailer/Dispatcher, be ratified and confirmed, effective January 25th, 1985.

N0. 15876 APPROVAL OF MONTHLY LEASE BETWEEN KERR COUNTY AND JOHN SANDIDGE FOR OFFICE SPACE
FOR THE KERR COUNTY JUVENILE PROBATION OFFICER
On this the 14th day of January 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved a monthly lease in the amount of
$275.00 per month, plus utilities, between Kerr County and John Sandidge, for office space for
the Kerr County Juvenile Probation Officer, effective as of February 1st, 1985, payable in
advance.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to
make monthly rental payments out of the General Fund, payable to John Sandidge.

JUVENILE PROBATION OFFICER
On this the 14th day of January 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the employment of Rita Laverne Taylor as
a Secretary to the Kerr County Juvenile Probation Officer, Simon J. Harris, at a salary of
$790.00 per month, to be effective as of February 1st, 1985, payable out of the General Fund.
