by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved salary increases for Janice Owen,
', Deputy County Treasurer and Sandra L. Elliott, part-time hourly employee in the County
Treasurer's Office, to be effective as of January 15th, 1985, as follows:
Janice Owen, Deputy County Treasurer from 850.00 per month to $900.00
per month (from 10,200.00 per annum to 10,800.00 per annum)
Sandra L. Elliott, part-time hourly employee, from $5.20 per hour to
$5.50 per hour.

NO. 15869 APPROVAL OF SALARY INCREASE OF ASSISTANT COUNTY AUDITOR, CYNTHIA P. JONES, FOR
PAYROLL PURPOSES
On this the 14th day of January 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved a salary increase of Assistant County,
Auditor, Cynthia P. Jones, for payroll purposes, effective as of January 1st, 1985, due to
completion of her probationary period, in the amount of $50.00 per month, from $800.00 per
month to $850.00 per month (from $9,600.00 per annum to $10,200.00 per annum), subject to
approval by the District Judges.

NO. 15870 APPROVAL OF AUTO ALLOWANCE FOR THE SUPERINTENDENT OF MAINTENANCE, FRANK L.
SPEAKMON
On this the 14th day of January 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved a monthly in-county auto allowance
for the Superintendent of Maintenance, Frank L. Speakmon, in the amount of $50.00 per month,
retroactive to December 1st, 1984, payable out of the General Fund.

On this the 14th day of January 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the employment of Anita Carrales as a
secretary in the 216th Judicial District Probation Office, effective as of January 1st, 1985,
at a salary of $850.00 per month, as requested by Chas. O. Champion, Chief Probation Officer.
(Salary to be paid out of the 216th District Probation Fund).

I NO. 15872 ORDER CONFIRMING CHANGE OF FUND FOR PAYMENT OF SALARY OF SYBIL G. ERWIN, SECRETARY
TO THE CHIEF PROBATION OFFICER OF THE 216th JUDICIAL DISTRICT
On this the 14th day of January 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved an order confirming the change of fund
for payment of the salary of Sybil G. Erwin, Secretary to the Chief Probation Officer.
Effective February 1st, 1985, the Treasurer is directed to pay the entire salary of
Sybil G. Erwin out of the 216th District Probation Fund, instead of partial payment out of
', the Juvenile Probation Fund, as had been the previous policy.
