Commissioner Precinct 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: N0.15856 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS On this the 14th day of January 1985, came on to be considered by the various claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer, payable out of Road & Bridges General, County Law Library, Jury, Juvenile Services, Juvenile State Aid, Revenue Sharing Trust and 216th District Probation Funds. Motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o The taking and receiving of bids for one used track loader for use by the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. Two was declared closed at this time. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 15857 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF KUENSTLER MACHINERY FOR ONE USED TRACK LOADER FOR USE BY THE COMMISSIONER OF KERR COUNTY PRECINCT NO. TWO On this the 14th day of January 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of the Bid of KUENSTLER MACHINERY, for one used track loader for use by the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. Two, in the amount of $24,500.00, subject to review by the County Auditor, Don Williamson. (One CASE P4ode1 850B Crawler Loader, with Case built 336 cubic inch, 75 net HP, four cylinder diesel engine; 12 cubic yard loader bucket; rear mounted ripper, drawbar; 15" closed semi-grouser tracks; lockup package; forestry grille; heavy duty transmis- Sion bottom guard; lights; heavy duty bucket teeth; pre-cleaner; suspension seat; cold start aid; anti-sandblast radiator; front and rear track guides. (Serial no. 7079398, 1980 year model). It is further ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher in the above amount, payable to KUENSTLER MACHINERY, out of Road & Bridge Precinct 2 Capital Expenditure Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 15858 APPROVAL OF FUNDING REQUEST FOR THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY OF THE 216th JUDICIAL DISTRICT On this the 14th day of January 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Ccurt unanimously approved the funding request for the District Attorney of the 216th Judicial District, and pursuant to the 1984-85 Budget for Kerr County pertaining to the District Attorney's Office, the Court unanimously approved the funding request and authorizing the County Treasurer and County Auditor to issue automatic monthly payments (payable on the first day of the month, beginning February 1st, 1985, unless other- wise noted) and payable out of the General Fund, as follows: 1. Salary of Kay Brown, Secretary - $984.00 per month, beginning January 1st, 1985 2. To E. Bruce Curry, District Attorney, 216th Judicial District: -___ - ___. a. Office rental - $850.00 per month (beginning January 1st, 1985) ~~ b. Office machinery & dictating equipment - $412.49 per month beginning '' January 1st, 1985) ~. c. WHEELER, EMPLOYEES IN KERR COUNTY COMMISSIONER'S PRECINCT ONE On this the 14th day of January 1985, a motion was made by Commissioner Holland for approval of adjustment of probationary salary increases of Sam Whitmire, from $6.55 per hour to $6.67 per hour and of Aaron L. Wheeler, from $5.50 per hour to $5.62 per hour, effective as of December 1st, 1984. Approval requested for adjustments to bring their probationary period increases to $50.00 per month. Motion failed for lack of a second. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o ' NO. 15862 RESIGNATION OF NANCY WALKER, JAILER-DISPATCHER, EFFECTIVE JANUARY 8th, 1985 On this the 14th day of January 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Nancy Walker, - Jailer-Dispatcher, be ratified and confirmed, effective January 8th, 1985.
