by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that Dr. Theodore R. Boyce be appointed
County Health Authority for a two year term, effective January 1st, 1985.

NO. 15852 CONSENT TO THE APPOINTMENT TO FILL A VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF ASSISTANT COUNTY
ATTORNEY
On this the 1st day of January, 1985, came on to be considered by the Commissioners'
_ Court of Kerr County, Texas, the matter of consenting to the appointment to fill a vacancy in --______ ____
the office of Assistant County Attorney to serve at a rate of compensation to be set by the
Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, at a special S.nstance and request of and for a
period of time to be determined by County Attorney Gary E. Kersey; and it appearing that a
need exists to fill the vacancy in the office of Assistant County Attorney which will exist
after January 1, 1985; and it appearing that the said Gary E. Kersey, County Attorney, has
recommended the appointment of Robert A. Denson to the office of Assistant County Attorney
effective January 1, 1985; and it further appearing that the said Robert A. Denson is duly
licensed and authorized to pratice as an attorney and counselor at law in all the Courts of
the State of Texas; and it further appearing that the County Attorney is authorized. and em-
powered under the terms and provisions of Art. 331, Revisied Civil Statutes of Texas, to make
such an appointment with the consent of the Commissioners' Court; it is hereby ordered upon
motion of Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by
the Court, that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County grant its consent to the appointment
of Robert A. Denson to the office of Assistant County Attorney effective January 1, 1985;
the said Robert A. Denson to have the same powers and authority as the County Attorney and
to serve at the will of the said County Attorney. This consent is subject, however, to the
said Robert A. Denson taking the official oath of office and depositing it in the office of
the County Clerk; and it is further ordered that his compensation is fixed at $15,000.00 per
annum effective date of qualification.

the City of Kerrville in the amount of $1,800.00, for the Kerr County Volunteer Fire Depart-
