Gary E. Kersey; and it appearing tna.t a need exists to fill the vacancy
in the office of Assistant County Attorney which will exist after
January 1, 1955; and it appearing that the said Gary E. Kersey, County
Attorney, has receded the appoint~n+ent of Robert A. Denson to the office
of Assistant County Attorney effective January 1, 1955; and it further
appearing that the said P~obert A. Denson is duly licensed and authorized
to pratice as an attorney and counselor at law in all the Courts of the
State of Texas; and it further appearing that the County Attorney is
authorized and ~npowered under the terms and provisions of Art. 331,
Revisied Civil Statutes of Texas, to make such an appointment with the
consent of the Ccn~missioners' Court; it is hereby ordered upon motion of
Ccmmi.ssioner Guthrie seconded by
Ccn~mi.ssioner Lich ,and unanimously approved
by the Court, that the Cc~anissioners' Court of Kerr County grant its consent
to the appo intment of Robert A . Denson to the office of Assistant County
Attorney effective January 1, 1955; the said Robert A. Denson to have
the same powers and authority as the County Attorney and to serve at
the will of the said County Attorney . This consent is subject , however ,
to the said Robert A. Denson taking the official oath of office and
depositing it in the office of the County Clerk; and it is further
ordered that his compensation is fixed at $15 , 0 0 0.0 0 per a~nn~
effective date of qualification .
