ORDER N0. 15972 THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF KERR R E S O L U T I O N X X WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Kerr County Commissioners' Court that possible legislation is being con- sidered which could require counties to collect additional funds to be sent to the State of Texas; and WHEREAS, we the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County meeting in a regular session this 11th day of March, 1985, do hereby object to any legislation which would require Kerr County offices to collect any additional fees or monies to be sent directly to the State of Texas, whereby adding additional duties and responsibilities to county offices and extra tax burdens to local citizens for the purpose of obtaining state funding. BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Texas Legislature be urged not to consider any legislation which would bring about the collection of any additional fees by any county office to be sent directly to the State of Texas. yam/ ~ /, ~~1985.
