EMPLOYMENT OF LAURIE DRENNAN AS A LEGAL SECRETARY-RECEPTIONIST
TO THE COUNTY COURT AT LAW JUDGE, EFFECTIVE AS OF OCTOBER 1ST,
1985
On this the 8th day of October 1985, upon motion made by Commis-
sioner Holland seconded by Commissioner Higgins the Court
unanimously approved the employment of Laurie Drennan as a Legal
Secretary-Receptionist to the County Court at Law Judge, effective
as of October 1st, 1985, at a salary of $1136.25 per month,
($13,635.00 per annum), payable out of the General Fund, Code
No. 10-427-1OS.

Gentlemen:
I have interviewed many applicants this month and have
hired the following personnel who will begin employment
on October 1, 1985. They are:
Mrs. Laurie Drennan, Secretary-Receptionist (Legal)

Mrs. Debra F~etnandez, Certified Court Reporter
$1,666.66 per month
While I had over 30 applicants for Secretary-Receptionist,
Debra is the only Certified Court Reporter I could hire for
less than $25,000 per annum, although I ran an ad in Kerrville
and both San Antonio papers.
