FOR PROVIDING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS AT LOUIS SCHREINER FIELD On this the 13th day of May 1985, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court, after reviewing several bids before the Court, unanimously approved the recommendation of the Airport Board, accepting the proposal from Blackwell & Associates, Inc., for providing engineering services for the proposed improvements at the Louis Schreiner Field, subject to concurrence by the City of Kerrville. As you will note in the minutes of May 6, the Committee is recommending to City Council and County Commissioners Court, that the firm of Blackwell & Associates, Inc. be given the award for engineering services for the proposed improvements at Louis Schreiner Field (600' runway extension, etc.i. The firm of Hogan & Rasor, Inc, would be an alternate choice in the event Blackwell would be unable to provide the ser- vices. In order for this award to be made by May 15, action regard- ing the award will have to be taken by both governmental entities - County Commissioners Court on A1ay I3, and City Council on May 14.
