COUNTY OF KERR X COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION ON DECEMBER 18th,
1986 at 10:00 o'clock A. M., with the following members present:

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
NO. 16979 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 18th day of December 1986, came on to be considered by the Court, the
various claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts,
which claims and accounts were approved for payment out of the General, Indigent Health Care,
County Law Library, Road & Bridge, 216th District Probation, Jury, Juvenile Services and Kerr
County Public Library Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commisssioner Holland and unanimously
approved by the Court that said bills be paid.

NO. 16980 KERRVILLE SOUTH VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTP-4ENT AND TURTLE CREEK VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPART-
MENT AUTHORIZED TO INSTALL A LOW BAND RADIO AND REPEATER ON THE KERR COUNTY TOWER,
FOR USE BY ALL FIRE DEPARTMENTS
On this the 18th day of December 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Hiqqins, the Court unanimously approved that the Kerrville South Volunteer
Fire Department and the Turtle Creek Volunteer Fire Department be authorized to install a low
band radio and repeater on the Kerr County Tower, for restricted use by all Fire Departments
in Kerr County.

NO. 16981 APPROVAL OF COUNTY TREASURER'S QUARTERLY REPORT ENDING SEPTEMBER 30th, 1986
On this the 18th day of December 1986, in Regular Session of the Commissioners' Court,
came on for examination the Quarterly Report of Dorothy H. Hilburn, County Treasurer of Kerr
County, Texas, for the period beginning July 1st, 1986 and ending September 30th, 1986, and -''
the same having been examined and compared by the Court and found correct.
And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received for
account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and become
a part hereof, and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds, since the
filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found correct as
', therein shown..
It is therefore ordered by the Court that said detailed report be, and the same is
hereby approved and the Clerk of the Court is hereby ordered to file same in the record
accounts of said Treasurer in accordance with this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 16982 APPROVAL OF MANDATED PROVIDER AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN H. E. BUTT GROCERY COMPANY
AND KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 18th day of December 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, second-
ed by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved a MANDATED PROVIDER AGREEMENT, by
and between H. E. BUTT GROCERY COMPANY, acting by and through its duly authorized officer

On this the 18th day of December 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
III by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved amending the Kerr County Sheriff's
~~I' Budget for the Fiscal Year 1986-1987 (increasing the budgeted amount by $8,556.00 - changing
a part-time position for one of the Sheriff's Deputies, A. E. Staudt, effective as of January

'' N0. 16984 APPROVAL OF CHANGE OF PART-TIME POSITION OF DEPUTY SHERIFF A. E. STAUDT, TO FULL-
" TIME POSITION, EFFECTIVE AS OF JANUARY 1st, 1987
On this the 18th day of December 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, second-
ed by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved the request of Clifton A. Greeson,
~I! Sheriff, to change the part-time position of Deputy A. E. Staudt, to a full-time position,
effective as of January 1st, 1987, and that his salary be fised at $17,112.00 per annum,
$1,426.00 monthly - $713.00 semi-monthly, effective as of January 1st, 1987, Kerr County Pay
Group 17, Step 3.

NO. 16985 HILL COUNTRY JUNIOR LIVESTOCK ASSOCIATION AUTHORIZED TO PURCHASE TWO NIGHT LIGHTS
FOR THE AGRICULTURE EXHIBITION BUILDINGS
On this the 18th day of December 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that the HILL COUNTRY JUNIOR LIVESTOCK'S
ASSOCIATION be authorized to purchase two night lights for the Agriculture Exhibition Bui
at a cost of $275.00.

'N0. 16986 RESIGNATION OF ILENE MERRITT AS A MEMBER OF THE KERR COUNTY HISTORICAL COMMISSION
On this the 18th d.ay of December 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of ILENE MERRITT
as a member of the Kerr County Historical Commission be ratified and confirmed.

NO. 16987 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF E. H. BOESSLING FOR USED HAUL TRAILER AND USED TRUCK TRACTOR,
FOR USE BY THE KERR COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT
On this the 18th day of December 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of the BID OF E. H.
BOESSLING for a used HAUL TRAILER and a used TRUCK TRACTOR in the total amount of $35,000.00,
for use by the Kerr County Road & Bridge Department, and as recommended by the Kerr County
Auditor and Road Administrator.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher on the Road and Bridge Fund in the amount of $35,000 for said equipment,
upon delivery and acceptance by the Kerr County Road Administrator Jack C. Smith.
