'I On this the 12th day of September 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, second-
ed by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved a BRIDGE LOAD POSTING AGREEMENT, by

and between the State of Texas, acting by and through the Engineer-Director, with approval
of the State Highway and Public Transportation Commission, hereinafter called the "State" and ',
Y.err County hereinafter called the "Local Jurisdiction".
~ It is ordered by the Court that the County Judge of Kerr County, Texas be authorized
', to execute said agreement on behalf of Kerr County.

'' NO. 16841 RESOLUTION
BE IT REMEMBERED at an Emergency Meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County
held on the 12th day of September, 1986, on motion made by Commissioner Guthrie and seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the following Resolution was adopted:
WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court is the governing body and the authorized legal
authority of the County of Kerr;
', 6VHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court is hereby endorsing and approve the BRIDGE LOAD POSTING
AGREEMENT, dated September 12, 1986, between the STATE OF TEXAS AND COUNTY OF KERR;
WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court hereby authorized the County Judge to sign all trans-
actions with reference to this project and on behalf of the County of Kerr, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; that the County of Kerr will comply with the Agreement
between the State of Texas and the County of Kerr.

NO. 16842 EMPLOYMENT OF HERBERT A. "BUSTER" BALDWIN AS A JAILER-DISPATCHER
On this the 12th day of September 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, second-
ed by Commissioner Higgins, with Commissioners Holland and Higgins and County Judge Morriss
voting "AYE" and Commissioners Lich and Guthrie voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a
majority vote, approving the employment of HERBERT A. "BUSTER" BALDWIN as a Jailer-Dispatcher,
effective as of September 16th, 1986, at a salary of $12,978.00 per annum, $1,081.50 monthly,
$540.75 semi-monthly, Kerr County Pay Group 13 Step 1, payable out of the General Fund.
