The Commissioners' Court will convene on Friday, September 12th, 1986 at 10:00 o'clock A. M.,
in the County Courtroom of the Kerr County Courthouse, for the purpose of setting the Tax
~ Levy for 1986-1987.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously
approved by the Court that the public hearing be adjourned.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECONVENED iDI REGULAR SESSION at 7:12 o'clock P. M., September 8th, 1986
with the following members present:
GORDON S. MORRISS	County Judge		
FRED HOLLAND	Commissioner	Precinct	1
EDWARD D. HIGGINS	Commissioner	Precinct	2
VICTOR LICH	Commissioner	Precinct	3
BILLY JOE GUTHRIE,	JR. Commissioner	Precinct	4
at which time a public hearing on the proposed operating budget for Kerr County for the
fiscal year beginning October 1st, 1986 through September 30th, 1987 was held in the County
Courtroom of the Kerr County Courthouse.
Eight (8) members of the public were present at the public hearing. Motion made by Commis-
sioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland that the public hearing be adjourned, and
unanimously approved by the Court.
The public hearing adjourned September 8th, 1986 at 7:20 o'clock P. M.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECONVENED IN REGULAR SESSION ON September 8th, 1986, at 7:21
P. M., at the conclusion of 'the Budget Hearing, with all members of the Court present, and
the following proceedings were had:
N0. 16836 ADOPTION OF PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET FOR KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, FOR FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING OCTOBER 1st, 1986
On this the 8th day of September 1986, came on to be considered by the Court the public
hearing in the matter of the adoption of the County Budget for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1986.
It appearing to the Court that proper notices have been in the Kerrville Mountain Sun,
in the City of Kerrville, Texas, for one week prior to the hearing date hereof, and after
thorough examination of the Court and the consideration of the public interest of the
community, the Court is of the opinion that the Proposed Operating Budget for Kerr County,
Texas, for the fiscal year beginning October 1st, 1986 should be approved.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, with
Commissioners Lich, Guthrie and Judge Morriss voting "AYE" and Commissioners Holland and
Higgins voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote, approving the adoption of the
County Budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1st, 1986.
