NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we hereby ask the members of the Texas Senate and Texas
House of Representatives to honor the commitment made in the 1984 Special Session of the
ji Legislature to repair and improve the state's highways. Essential highway improvement funds
I must not be diverted to other uses. Projects to prevent traffic accidents, reduce congestion,
I and improve mobility of all Texans must be completed without delay.

' Masonry) of $3,240.20 (County's share of of S6.480.40 invoice)--contingent on approval by
City of Kerrville at August 12th, 1986 meeting--regarding completion of airport signs (budgeted
item) and construction at Louis Schreiner Field.

Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that Frank L. Speakmon, Superintendent of
Maintenance Department, be authorized to get bids for building some book shelves for the
District Clerk's Office.

by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved that the firm of DELOITTE HASKINS &
SELLS be employed to audit the records of County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County for the
fiscal year beginning October 1, 1985 and ending September 30th, 1986, and make recommenda-
tions. to the Commissioners' Court.
