NO. 16710 DESIGNATION OF ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH RECREATIONAL HALL AS THE 216th DISTRICT
' COURTROOM FOR WEEK OF JULY 7TH, 1986
On this the 7th day of July 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the Zion Lutheran
Church Recreational Hall be designated as the 216th Judicial District Courtroom for the
week of July 7th, 1986.

NO. 16711 APPOINTMENT OF J. C. GOSNELL AS A MEMBER OF THE REGIONAL ALCOHOL AND DRUG
ABUSE ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO THE ALAMO AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
On this the 7th day of July 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved the appointment of J. C. Gosnell as
a Member of the Regional Alcohol and Drug Abuse Advisory Committee to the Alamo Area Council
of Governments.

NO. 16712 APPOINTMENT OF ROAD ADMINISTRATOR JACK C. SMITH AS KERR COUNTY'S SAFETY
COORDINATOR FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES
On this the 7th day of July 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the appointment of ROAD ADMINISTRATOR
JACK C.. SMITH as KERR COUNTY'S SAFETY COORDINATOR, as recommended by Ron Jones of the Texas
Association of Counties, for insurance purposes.

NO. 16713 APPROVAL OF EMPLOYMENT OF CLAOME LOU WEISHAAR AS SECRETARY TO THE COUNTY COURT
AT LAW JUDGE, WILLIAM L. BASKETTE, JR.
On this the 7th day of July 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the employment of CLAOME LOU
WEISHAAR as Secretary to the County Court at Law Judge, William L. Baskette, Jr., effective
as of July 7th, 1986, at a salary of $13,635.00 per annum - ($568.13 semi-monthly, Kerr
County Pay Group 14 Step 1, payable out of the General Fund.

NO. 16714 ACCEPTANCE OF AMENDED BID OF CLARK & STROMAN CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION'.,
OF A JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER ON THE THIRD FLOOR OF THE KERR COUNTY COURTHOUSE,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,403.00
On this the 7th day of July 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of the amended bid of
CLARK & STROMAN CONSTRUCTION, INC., for construction of a Juvenile Detention Center on the
third floor of the Kerr County Courthouse, in the amount of $27,403.00, with the stipulation
that the bid security be received by July 9th, 1986.
It is further ordered by the Court that the amended bid of SYL Corporation in the
amount of $25,000.00 be rejected, due to failure to comply with bid specifications regarding
insurance coverage.
