On this the 9th day of June 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved the request of Bill Baskette, Jr., ~
County Court at Law Judge, for the temporary employment of PEGGY DUNBAR as a Secretary, for
the period of June 10th thru June 30th, 1986, at an hourly rate of $6.56 per hour, Pay Group
14 Step 1, payable out of the General Fund.

Commissioner Victor Lich served as Presiding Officer of the Commissioners' Court in
the absence of County Judge Gordon S. Morriss, and the Court having duly opened, the following
proceedings were had:
N0. 16703 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 19th day of June 1986, came on to be considered by the Court, the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which
claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer, payable out of
the General, Jury, Road and Bridge, County Law Library, and Juvenile Services Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins, and unanimously
approved by the Court that said bills be paid.

NO. 16705 CONFIRMATION OF APPOINTMENT OF CYNTHIA A. HOLMES AS DEPUTY COUNTY TREASURER
On this the 19th day of June 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commisssioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved confirmation of the appointment of
CYNTHIA A. HOLMES as a Deputy County Treasurer, effective as of June 16th, 1986, at a salary
of $12,978.00 per annum, 1081.50 per month - 540.75 semi-monthly, Kerr County Pay Group 13
Step 1, which was previously approved on June 9th, 1986.
