NO. 16691 APPROVAL OF FIRST PAYMENT TO THE ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY OF KERR COUNTY, INC.
On this the 9th day of June 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the first payment to the ANIMAL

WELFARE SOCIETY OF KERR COUNTY, INC., as per agreement dated January 23rd, 1986, between
the COUNTY OF KERR and the ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY OF KERR COUNTY, INC., in the amount of
$1,250.00 per month, payable out of the General Fund.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher payable to the ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY OF KERR COUNTY, INC. in the amount of
$1,250.00 now, and thereafter on the first day of each succeeding month, as per present con-
tract. I

N0. 16692 MOTION TO ACCEPT LOW BID OF SYL CORPORATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF JUVENILE DETENTION '
CENTER ON THE THIRD FLOOR OF THE KERR COUNTY COURTHOUSE
On this the 9th day of June 1986, a motion was made by Commissioner Higgins to accept
the low bid of SYL CORPORATION for construction of a Juvenile Detention Center on the third
floor of the Kerr County Courthouse in the amount of $25,000.00.
Motion failed for lack of a second.

THIRD FLOOR OF THE KERR COUNTY COURTHOUSE ~,
On this the 9th day of June 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by commissioner Lich and unanimously approved by the Court, that Bids for the Construction
of a Juvenile Detention Center on the Third Floor of the Kerr County Courthouse, be deferred
and considered at a later date.

N0. 16694 MOTION TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF A TEXAS COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS
FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FUND
Pm this the 9th day of June 1986, a motion was made by Commissioner Holland to approve
a RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION
OF A TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
AFFAIRS FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FUND; AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY JUDGE TO ACT AS
THE COUNTY'S EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE IN ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO THE
COUNTY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, with item No. 5 of the Resolution,
being stated as follows:
"That it further be stated that Kerr County is committing $35,000.00 from its Road &
Bridge Fund either in cash or in kind or a combination thereof toward the widening and paving ";
project."
