authorizing County Attorney Gary E. Kersey to employ Matthew Paul as a full time Assistant
County Attorney at a salary of $30,000 per annum, payable out of the General Fund, effec-

On this the 9th day of June 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded ~I

CLARK AND STROMAN CONSTRUCTION, INC. received May 22nd, 1986, for construction of a Juvenile
Detention Center on the Third Floor of the Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville, Texas, be I'
rejected.

N0. 16688 APPROVAL OF REPEAT OF LOT 11 CLEAR VIEW ESTATES
On this the 9th day of June 1986, upon motion made by County Judge Morriss, seconded
by Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved a REPEAT OF LOT 11 CLEAR VIEW
ESTATES, with no variances, located in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. One, and that
all improvements that are to be made shall comply with the existing KERR COUNTY SUBDIVISION
"RULES AND REGULATIONS" that became effective January 1st, 1984 and amendments to the regula-
tions that were approved by the Commissioners' Court on April 9th, 1984.

On this the 9th day of June 1986, came on to be considered by the Court a letter
request from Juanita R. Maples, Chief Appraiser of the Kerr Central Appraisal District,
requesting formal action by the Court to exempt, or deny exemption on property located
at 405 Water St., Kerrville, Texas, recorded in Volume 353, Pages 283-285, Deed Records of
Kerr County, Texas, owned by June D. Anderson, regarding an exemption application for
Historic Site for 1986.
P4otion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie and unanimously
approved by the Court that the property mentioned above does not qualify for an exemption
at this time.

It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher payable to the ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY OF KERR COUNTY, INC. in the amount of L,
$1,250.00 now, and thereafter on the first day of each succeeding month, as per present con-

DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS
FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FUND
Pm this the 9th day of June 1986, a motion was made by Commissioner Holland to approve
a RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION
OF A TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
AFFAIRS FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FUND; AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY JUDGE TO ACT AS
THE COUNTY'S EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE IN ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO THE
COUNTY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, with item No. 5 of the Resolution
being stated as follows:
"That it further be stated that Kerr County is committing $35,000.00 from its Road &
Bridge Fund either in cash or in kind or a combination thereof toward the widening and paving
project."
