Whereas, Vocational Agriculture and Future Farmers of America are worth the effort to save i because of their intrinsic value to the rural and urban education process, and Whereas, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Jim Hightower and other leaders in Texas government and the private sector have initiated a plan to restore funding to the now non-existent Vo-Ag field staff operations, and I Whereas the plan to restore field staff positions would only replace six of the 15 lost positions at a cost of less than $200,000 per year to the State of Texas, therefore Be it resolved that the Commissioners Court of the County of Kerr is sympathetic to the ~~U.~' plight of Vocational Agriculture, and
