EDUCATION DWI PROGRAM
On this the 10th day of March 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved salary increases for instructors of the
Kerr County Traffic Safety Education DWI Program, as follows:
$35.00 per hour for 15 hours per month for Albert Pierce, Instructor/Administrator,..,
and
$125.00 per month for the Assistant Instructor, B. J. Kelley,
effective as of March 10, 1986.

N0. 16542 APPROVAL OF REIMBURSEMENT TO BILL OR JODY FACKELMAN FOR FORMULA FOR ABANDONED
NEWBORN, TARA
On this the 10th day of D4arch 1986, upon motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by
Commissioner Higgins, the Court unanimously approved a reimbursement to BILL OR JODY
FACKELMAN in the amount of $324.66 for formula purchased for abandoned newborn, Tara.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher on the General Fund, payable to BILL or JODY FACKELMAN for the formula
purchased., in the amount of $324.66.

INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
On this the 10th day of P4arch 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, it was unanimously approved by the Court that JIM CROW be appointed
as a member of the Kerr County Industrial Development Corporation, to replace Frank Thomason,
Jr. whose resignation was effective December 31st, 1985.

NO. 16544 APPROVAL OF SECOND QUARTERLY PAYP4ENT TO THE KERR CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR
FOR TAX APPRAISAL OFFICE EXPENSES FOR THE YEAR 1986
On this the 10th day of March 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the second quarterly payment to the
Kerr Central Appraisal District for tax appraisal office expenses for the year 1986, in the
amount of $17166.27.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to
draw a voucher on the General Fund, payable to the Kerr Central Appraisal District, in the
above amount.

MATERIALS TESTING AT LOUIS SCHREINER FIELD
On this the 10th day of March 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved payment to TRINITY ENGINEERING
TESTING CORP. for Soils/Compaction/Materials Testing at Louis Schreiner Ficld, for construc-
tion of Runway/Taxiway Extension and Airport Road, in the amount of $2,174.00, in concurrence
with action taken by the City Council at their meeting on February 25th, 1986 approving said
payment.

of $77,839.42, for services rendered during the period January 26th, 1986 through February
25th, 1986.

N0. 16547 ORDER AUTHORIZING CITY OF KERRVILLE TO SOLICIT BID PROPOSALS FOR THE PURCHASE OF
WATER MAIN MATERIALS AT LOUIS SCHREINER FIELD
On this the 10th day of March 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the City of Kerrville
solicit bid proposals for the purchase of water main materials at the Louis Schreiner Field,
as itemized in their bid specifications, and as approved by the City Council at their meeting
on February 25th, 1986.

On this the 10th day of March 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded

the amount of $2852.04 for printed checks furnished Kerr County, as per contract.

NO. 16550 ACCEPTANCE OF ROAD EASEMENT TO KERR COUNTY AND STATE OF TEXAS FROM DORIS HERRING,
ET AL
On this the 10th day of March 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved acceptance from Doris Herring, et al,
of a 50-foot road easement and right-of-way situated in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct
No. Four, to Kerr County and the State of Texas, provided in so doing that Kerr County does
not accept maintenance of roadways.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, be authorized
o re-file and re-record the easement previously filed by Mrs. Doris Herring and recorded
in Volume 22, Pages 221-230, Easement Records, substituting an amended Page 3 of said
instrument, as recommended by County Attorney Gary E. Kersey.
