Greeson, Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for the appointment of CARL E. BIERMANN as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective as of February 18th, 1986, at a salary of $15,812.00 per annum ($1,317.67 per month - $658.83 semi-monthly, Kerr County Pay Group 17 Step 1), payable out of General Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 16531 PAYMENT TO RAY ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR CONDUCTING A SALARY SURVEY OF POSITIONS COMPARABLE TO THAT OF COUNTY ROAD ADMINISTRATOR; PREPARING A JOB DESCRIPTION AND MAKING A SALARY RECOMMENDATION On this the 20th day of February 1986, upon motion made by commissioner Higgins, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved payment to RAY ASSOCIATES, INC., for professional services rendered to Kerr County for conducting a salary survey of positions comparable to that of County Road Administrator; preparing a job description for County Road Administrator; and making a salary recommendation, in the amount of $345.00. It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher on the General Fund in the above amount, payable to Ray Associates, Inc., for said services. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 16532 APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT OF RIVER PLACE On this the 20th day of February 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved a PRELIMINARY PLAT OF RIVER PLACE, with no variances, located in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct Four, and that all improve- ments that are to be made shall comply with the existing KERR COUNTY SUBDIVISION "RULES AND REGULATIONS" that became effective January 1st, 1984, and amendments to the regulations that were approved by the Kerr County Commissioners' Court on April 9th, 1984. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 16533 APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTING PROCEDURES IN THE KERR COUNTY DISTRICT CLERK'S OFFICE On this the 20th day of February 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich, it was unanimously approved by the Court that all County fees collected by the Kerr County District Clerk be withheld in the District Clerk's Account, until such time, that the shortage in the amount of $20,550.20 has been collected, as recommended by the auditing firm of Deloitte Haskins and Sells. It is further ordered by the Court that any restitution in the above amount shall be deposited with the County Treasurer in the General Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 16534 EMPLOYMENT OF RONALD W. STEWART AS AN EQUIPMENT OPERATOR IN COMMISSIONER'S PRECINCT 2 On this the 20th day of February 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the employment of RONALD W. STEWART as an equipment operator in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. 2, effective as of January 127th, 1986, at $5.94 per hour, payable out of Road & Bridge Fund. (Kerr County Pay Group 12 - Step 1) o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 16535 APPROVAL OF COUN'~Y TREASURER'S QUARTERLY REPORT ENDING DECEMBER 31st, 1985 On this the 20th day of February 1986, in Special Session of the Commissioners' Court, ~~ sa~ came on for examination the Quarterly Report of Dorothy H. Hilburn, County Treasurer of Kerr County, Texas, for the period beginning October 1st, 1985 and ending December 31st, 1985, and the same having been examined and compared by the court and found correct. And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received for account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and become a part hereof, and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds, since the filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found correct as therein shown. It is therefore ordered by the Court that said detailed report be, and the same is hereby approved and the Clerk of the Court is hereby ordered to file same in the record accounts of said Treasurer in accordance with this order.
