APPROVAL OF EMPLOYMENT OF GERRY W. MAYES~ ASSISTANT COUNTY
AUDITOR, FOR PAYROLL PURPOSES
On this the 25th day of September 1986, upon motion made
by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins,
the Court unanimously approved the employment of GERRY W.
MAYES as Assistant County Auditor, at a salary of $12,978.00
per annum, $1081.50 per month - $540.75 semi-monthly, for
payroll purposes, effective as of September 16th, 1986,
and that his salary be paid out of the General Fund.

TO THE HONORABLE COMMISSIONER'S COURT OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS:
• WHEREAS, the Honorable Don Williamson, County
Auditor of Kerr County,
undersigned District Judges
Texas, has certified to the
of Kerr County, Texas, his
appointment, pursuant to Article 1650, V.A.C.S., as amended,
of GERRY W. MAYES, as Assistant County Auditor, to serve at
an annual salary of $12,978.00 and to be authorized to act
for the County Auditor during his absence or unavoidable
detention with respect to such duties as are required by law
of the County Auditor, such certification of appointment
being attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the undersigned District Judges having
carefully considered the County Auditor's application for
approval of the foregoing appointment and having made all
necessary inquiries concerning the qualifications of the
said GERRY W. MAYES to serve as Assistant County Auditor,
and the reasonableness of the salary requested,
IT IS ORDERED that such appointment be and the
same is~hereby approved and the undersigned District Judges
do hereby certify that GERRY W. MAYES shall serve as
Assistant County Auditor at an annual salary of $12,978.00
upon taking the official oath of office and giving such bond
as is required by the County Auditor.
